Offices
Offices (including commercial buildings and courts) have acoustic requirements, primarily focussed on speech privacy for cellular rooms and confidential spaces, or speech intelligibility of video conferencing facilities, auditoria, and other training spaces. Conversely, poorly designed acoustic conditions can significantly impact upon productivity and end user wellbeing.
Modern facilities may also include data centres and gymnasia where experience in the specialist control of noise and vibration is important, or bespoke options are needed to meet the acoustic targets.
There are often BREEAM, LEED or other similar assessment credits available for acoustic design, and other relevant guidance documents or local building regulations that should be followed. However, to achieve the optimal acoustic environment for the end users it is often necessary to develop custom specifications in close collaboration with the project team.
Suono staff have considerable experience in the acoustic design of base build, Cat A, Cat B and bespoke fitout of commercial buildings, offices, and courts.
